Children's Groups

Our children's groups are for mothers with babies or toddlers, and for primary age children. We have a wide range of activities for families with young children and school age children.

Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these"
Mark chapter 10 verse 14

Provision is made for children during Sunday morning worship. Once a month the morning service is an All Age family service when all the children stay in the service. Every Sunday there are Creche facilities available for the under 3 year olds; J-Force and Y-Zone are the two groups for children up to 16 years of age and these meet on the 3 Sundays in the month when it is not a family service. Children of any age may stay in the service; toy bags are at the front of the church for younger children to use at their parent’s discretion.

We often hold special events for children, such as a holiday club or an activity morning.

Several groups and activities take place at the Berewood Primary School.

On Wednesday mornings, at Berewood Primary School, we hold a Coffee morning for mothers who have dropped their children at the school.
Also at Berewood Primary School on a Wednesday morning there is a SPLAT group (Stay Play Learn All Together).

See our Berewood page for further information.

Once a month we hold a Messy Church at Berewood Primary School.

At Waterlooville Baptist Church we have our Boys' Brigade and Girls' Brigade. Children can join the Brigades at age 5 years and continue through to 18 years.
Boys' Brigade is held on Monday evenings and Girls' Brigade on Tuesday evenings.

During term time we have a Toddlers group that is held on Thursday morning.
